FAQ

How should I prepare artwork for my item?

To expedite your order, please submit sharp black and white images only – no color, grayscale or halftones can be used. Images need be vector-based (raster images are not acceptable). Artwork via JPEG or PDF file can be used on a per-order process but may be subject to an artwork charge to convert. 

Consult a factory representative if you have questions at (636) 537-1517. We will contact you, and your order will have to be put on hold if your art is not acceptable.

We reserve the right to make slight alterations in artwork, text and logos in order to adapt to engraving process. You will receive a digital pre-production proof of your artwork.

Submitted artwork and logos are assumed to be in full compliance with trademark and copyright law.

Which programs can I use to prepare my artwork?

Illustrator CC and below, or Corel X7 and below.

Is there a charge for etching or engraving?

Personalized engraving is free for all web orders! Our free setup includes basic layout with your provided artwork; however, charges may apply for special custom projects or multiple logos. Contact us for more information.

Is there a charge for proofs?

We do not charge for proofs! Proofs are generated within one business day or sooner, after your order has been placed for all standard lead times.

How long will it take to produce my item?

See our Production & Delivery Time page for details.  This is a general production time, but many orders may ship within 1 business day after proof approval depending on the product you chose.

How will my order be shipped?

Orders are shipped UPS prepaid with shipping charges added to the invoice, F.O.B. St. Louis, Missouri.

Can you drop ship?

We can drop ship direct to location. Preprinted labels suitable for shipping must be supplied and an extra charge of $9 per package destination will apply.

How are breakage and freight claims handled?

Breakage claims must be made with the carrier within 2 days upon receipt of shipment. In the event of breakage, be sure to save all cartons and packaging for inspection. Title to goods passes to buyer at F.O.B. point.

Do you offer returns?

Etched and printed awards cannot be returned. Blank pieces must be returned with 10 days of your return authorization request. You will be credited full price less 20% restocking fee and cost of shipping. Random showroom samples must be returned within 30 days for a full credit less cost of shipping.

Can orders be canceled for a full refund?

You have until the end of the business day on the day your order is placed (5:00 pm EST) to cancel your order for a full refund. If canceled within 24 hours, a 20% restocking fee may apply. Orders cannot be canceled once proofs have been sent for approval unless prior authorization is received.

How do you handle trademarks and copyright?

Liability for correct use of a trademark rests with the customer. We reserve the right to photograph or show as samples items produced by us without any liability on our part as to trademark or artwork rights. Most of the logos shown on our site are from our customers and used for display purposes only. Endorsement of any products should not be implied in any case. All photographs are the sole property and copyright of ASAP Awards. Any use without prior written consent is prohibited.

Pictured products, graphic designs and logos only represent our ability to duplicate art and to illustrate our techniques.

All content, data, products, and images on our website are the property of Asap Inc. and any parent companies protected by United States and international copyright laws.

How is payment handled?

All orders must be paid in full upon inception of order. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Alternate forms of payment are accepted. Please contact our finance department to discuss. No items will be shipped until full payment is received unless your are on open account with ASAP Awards, Inc.

Is Your Crystal Glass Flawless?

There are many processes of glass and crystal manufacturing. Variations are inherent to the finest crystal and may include paddle marks, bubbles, pour lines and other variances that are not considered defects. Many of the products are handmade and may vary slightly from piece to piece.

Terms & Conditions

Art approval process is the most crucial step in any personalization business. Customers must carefully approve all layout, sizing, and spelling. Once customer approves artwork liability shifts to customer who agrees not to hold ASAP Awards responsible for changes not requested prior to final approval.

Once a custom order has been accepted, it cannot be canceled. Custom orders are made to your specific requirements and cannot be returned. Prices and products offered through our website are subject to change without notice. By placing an order with ASAP Awards for any product in this website, customer agrees to all terms and conditions.
