It’s important to remember that you want to set reachable goals so employees will get a sense of accomplishment once they achieve them.

With that said, there’s a difference between negative criticism and constructive criticism, and most employers will agree that constructive criticism is far more beneficial in terms of boosting employees’ performance.

#3) Be a Leader

Employees need a leading figure to show them exactly what to do and how to do it. Don’t be afraid to engage yourself in the company’s normal business operations alongside the workforce. Showing employees that you’re humble and willing to get your hands dirty encourages them to excel. You may feel a little out of place at first, but this will quickly go away as you begin to engage yourself in normal business operations.
